There are so many tourists coming to Korea
these days and the number of tourists is increasing every year.
When you go out
city, it is not hard to see foreigners in Korea.
Places like Myeongdong and Itaewon are packed with foreigners than local
people.
Also there are many English signs on the streets and public areas in Korea.
I have seen and met a lot of foreigners
came to Korea to try many things.
And I would like to write about the two
most common things that foreigners come to Korea for.
The two things are Korean
food and shopping (Korea Fashion
Clothing).
Firstly, Korea is known for healthy,
well-being traditional food, spicy food and needless to say, soju the alcohol.
Korean foods are very healthy foods and low calory.
Bibimbap is one of the most popular foods in Korea. The word Bibimbap means mixed
rice with vegetables.
It is served as a bowl of warm white rice topped with all
kinds of vegetables and chili pepper paste. You would probably try it on the
plane to Korea, if you fly with Korean Air. It’s their most popular food served
on the plane and have very good reviews and reputation.
Another one is a little far from healthy
food, but you can’t neglect street foods when you talk about Korean food. My
favorite street food, Tornado Potato!
You can easily find it on the streets,
especially in Myeongdong, Seoul.
Myeongdong is known for a big shopping
district filled up with many Korean
Clothes stores and it also has many street foods, so you will never get
hungry while shopping.
The tornado potato is sprinkled with
seasonings: cheese, chili and barbeque.
It’s not only being found served up on the
streets, but in several of the fried chicken restaurants.
Secondly, Korean clothing. If you want to go shopping for Korean clothes, I’d recommend you to go
to dongdaemun.
There are big department stores like Doota, Apm and Migliore.
Dongdaemun is the biggest Korean Fashion
market for wholesales and retails.
Almost every clothes in Korea are made in
dongdaemun. But nowadays dongdaemun market is going downhill because of online
stores.
Korea’s fast speed internet has made Korean fashion online market bigger.
There are numerous Korean fashion clothing online stores and they offer cheap Korean clothes than offline stores.
It
makes buyers to shop online rather than go out stores. It is actually a very
convenient way. I have shopped Korean clothes online several times and it was
